A List of Kosher Restaurants with a Succah in Israel

Although most kosher restaurants around Israel have a succah on Succot, there are a few that do not have outside space in order to build one. Below is a list of kosher restaurants around Israel that will have a succah this year. I have confirmed with most places personally but some restaurants are included based on previous Succot experience. I decided to put this list together last minute so please excuse any typos!

I will keep updating the list with additional information as I receive it. It is important to note that many restaurants have a very small succah so be sure to make reservations!

Jerusalem Area Succot Restaurants

• O2 Restaurant is a meat restaurant in the Inbal Hotel.
• 1868 is a creative, high-end meat restaurant.
• Al Dente is a dairy Italian restaurant in Rehavia.
• Andalucia (Mehuderet) is a meat tapas and cocktail bar in Kikar Hamusica.
• Angelica is a high-end meat restaurant, succah in a wonderful courtyard.
• Bagel Cafe (Mehadrin) is a dairy cafe in Rehavia.
• Black Iron is a steak restaurant near the shuk. Open for lunch from 1 pm just for Succot.

• Cafe Gan Sipur (Badazt Beit Yosef) is a cafe in Gan Sacher that includes a varied kids’ menu.
• Cafe Kadosh on Shlomtzion HaMalka.
• Cafe Lyon (Mehadrin) is a dairy cafe with a varied menu that includes breakfasts, sandwiches, toast, salads, pasta, grilled fish, and more.
• Cafe Shalva (Mehadrin) is a dairy cafe in Shalva National Center.
• Cafe Tamara (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant in the Technology Park in Malha.
• Captain Burger is a burger restaurant in the First Station.
• Craft Restaurant (Mehadrin) is a pizza restaurant on Shlomtzion in Jerusalem from the owner of Craft Pizza. The sour-dough pizza is made in a wood-fired oven and interesting toppings include smoky beets, camembert & honey, and portobello mushroom & truffle oil. There is also a selection of pasta, salad, and side dishes, and great cocktails.

• Crave (Mehuderet) is an American diner with various dishes like a facon cheeseburger.
• Entrecote (Badatz Haida Haredit) is a meat restaurant in Har Hotzvim.
• Ezra Grill is a traditional grilled meat restaurant in Talpiot.
• Fiori (Mehadrin) is a pasta restaurant in the First Station with a lovely Succah.
• Foccacia Bar is a meat restaurant on Emek Refaim.
• Fringe is a dairy and fish restaurant on the ground floor of the Jerusalem Theater from the Talbiye group. The menu is varied and exciting with a mix of dishes from the Levant.
• Golden Burger is a great burger restaurant on Hillel Street in the city center.
• Grand Cafe is a dairy cafe in Baka.
• Hahaverim (Mehadrin) is a traditional grilled meat restaurant in Cinema City.
• Hamama Cafe (Mehadrin) is a cafe in Kfar Etzion.
• Hamotzi (Badatz Beit Yosef) is a North African meat restaurant by Chef Avi Levy near Shuk Machane Yehuda.
• Happy Fish is a fish restaurant from Mamilla Hotel with a very large succah.
• Harvey’s Smokehouse is a US-style meat smokehouse with a large outside area.
• Hummus Ben Sira is a hummus restaurant near Mamilla, with great hummus, falafel, and grilled chicken.
• In Burger (Badatz Rubin) is a burger restaurant in Ramat Eshkol.
• Jerusalem Wineries has a lovely Succah attached to the visitor’s center in the Yemin Moshe Windmill, overlooking the Old City. Cheese platters from Meshek Gal are available with the wine tastings.
• Juha is a cafe in a garden center in Har Gilo.
• Kinor Bakikar (Mehuderet) is a steak restaurant in Kikar Hamusica.
• Kitchen by Greg is a dairy restaurant in Ramot Mall.
• Lago is a meat restaurant and bar in Park Shamir in Maale Adumim.
• Landwer (Badatz Beit Yosef) is a dairy restaurant in the First Station.
• La Piedra (Mehadrin) is a pizza restaurant with branches on Agron Street and in Arnona.
• Lechem Basar (Mehadrin) is a steak restaurant in the First Station.
• Luciana (Badatz Beit Yosef) is an Italian restaurant in Mevasseret Zion.
• Maalya is a meat restaurant in Park Kramim in Kiryat Anavim run by Chef Tal Gazit.
• Machne Asada is the street food restaurant of Black Iron with some wagyu beef dishes.
• Margo (Tzohar) is a dairy restaurant and wine bar in the Stay Inn Hotel in central Jerusalem.

• Mashav Food Trucks in Shoeva has a central Succah. The trucks serve hamburgers, pizza, tacos, and pastries.
• Meat Time (Mehuderet) is a grilled meat restaurant in Shuk Machane Yehuda.
• Medita is a Mediterranean meat bistro in Talpiot.
• Modern is a meat restaurant at the entrance of the Israel Museum, open for lunch and dinner during Succot.
• Mojo’s is a meat pizza and bistro.
• Nahman (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant in Kikar Hamusica.
• Orgado (Badatz Beit Yosef) is a meat bistro near Shuk Machane Yehuda.
• OrienTop is a meat restaurant on the roof of the Orient Hotel.
• Palomino is an Italian restaurant and lounge bar, open for lunch and dinner.

• Papagaio (Mehadrin) is a Brazilian meat restaurant in Talpiot.
• Piccolino (Mehadrin) is dairy Italian restaurant in Kikar Hamusica.
• Pompidou Bistro is a dairy Italian cafe on Emek Refaim.
• Rani is a new dairy restaurant in the First Station.
• Rodriguez (Badatz Rubin) is a steak restaurant in Har Hotzvim.
• Rooftop Restaurant is a  high-end meat restaurant on the roof of Mamilla Hotel with a beautiful Succah (featured above) and a view of the Old City walls.
• Shasha is a dairy restaurant in Katamon (that used to be called Cafe La Giardino, Cafe Oranim, and before that Luigi!).
• Shmaltz (Badatz Kehilot) is an Ashkenazi deli in Ramat Eshkol, from the owner of Hatch in the Shuk.
• Station 9 is an Asian fusion meat restaurant in the First Station.
• Sushi Rehavia is an Asian fusion meat restaurant on Rehov Azza.
• Tmol Shilshom is a dairy restaurant in Nahalat Shiva.
• Theatron Hotel has a pop-up restaurant for Succot with live musical entertainment and themed buffet dinner each night, more information here.

• The Grill Bar (Badatz Machpud) is a steakiah in Mevaseret Zion.
• Touro is a meat restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the walls of the Old City.
• Tzidkiyahu is a traditional grilled meat restaurant in Talpiot.
• Vanilla Bean (Mehadrin) is a boutique cafe in Talbiye with amazing homemade cakes and desserts.
• Veranda is a meat grill restaurant on the terrace of the David Citadel Hotel, overlooking the Old City (Veranda English menu).

• Waffle Factory is a kid-friendly dairy restaurant in Cinema City. Despite the name, the menu includes delicious pizza, pasta, and other savory dishes, as well as lots of dessert options.
• Zuta Cocktail Bar is a  cocktail bar with a delicious bar menu, behind 1868.

Other notes:

• Derech Hagefen is a dairy cafe in a garden center in Moshav Beit Zayit. None of the restaurants in this group allow reservations in the Succah.
• Naadi Cafe on Hillel Street has a large outdoor area but a very small Succah.
• Naya is an Asian restaurant in Beit Nekofa, just outside Jerusalem. None of the restaurants in this group allow reservations in the Succah.
• Pop Up Cafe in Kiryat Anavim has a Succah but none of the restaurants in this group allow reservations in the Succah.
• The Grill Room in The King David Hotel is only allowing hotel guests to eat in the Succah.

Modiin, Petach Tikva & Rishon LeZion Area Succot Restaurants

• Abdalla is a meat grill restaurant in Or Yehuda.
• Air Cafe is an Italian cafe in Lod.
• Alaesh Grill is a meat grill restaurant in Modi’in from the former owners of Pichonka.
• Alfredo (Mehadrin) is a dairy Italian restaurant in Petach Tikva.
• Cafe Bealma is a social enterprise cafe in Petach Tikva with a separate vegan menu.
• Cafe La Bustan is a coffee cart in Moshav Mishmar HaShiv’a near Holon and Rishon LeZion.
• Cafe Sari is a cafe in Karmei Yosef near Rehovot with live musical performances.
• Campania (Badatz Machpud) is a Turkish-style grill restaurant with a meat and fish menu, in Rishon LeZion.

• Samarkand is a traditional Bucharian restaurant with branches in South Tel Aviv and Or Yehuda.
• Sushi Bar Bazel is an Asian meat restaurant in the Prima City Hotel with a great sushi menu. Open from 1 pm for lunch over Succot.

• Tasting Room (Tzohar) is a  wine-tasting bar with a dairy menu in Sarona.
• Uno is an Italian dairy restaurant serving salads, pasta, and fish, with a large Succah.
• West Side is a wonderful chef meat restaurant in Royal Beach Tel Aviv.
• Whiskey Bar & Museum (Tzohar) is a meat restaurant in Sarona Tel Aviv. The Succah is located at the side of the restaurant, next to the entrance to Walter’s cigar bar.
• Yakimono is a Japanese restaurant in the  Hilton Tel Aviv and uses the hotel’s large Succah on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Mercaz/Sharon Succot Restaurants

• Bistro 56 is a meat restaurant on the first floor of the Arena Mall, overlooking the Marina in Herzliya Pituach.
• BP Bistro is an American diner-style restaurant with branches in Netanya and Kfar Monash. The menu has something for all the family.

• Coffee Qana is a coffee cart in Park Qana in the Shomron.
• Chop Chop is a steak restaurant in Hod Hasharon.
• Delikazan is an Israeli grill restaurant in Ra’anana under the same ownership as Kazan.
• Kazan is a French-style meat brasserie in Ra’anana.
• La Comida is a traditional meat worker’s restaurant in Kochav Yair,  with a focus on Bulgarian and Greek home-cooked food.
• Landwer (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant in Ariel.
• Panko Sushi – sushi restaurant in Ra’anana
• Slow & Bro is a meat smokehouse in Ra’anana.

• The View is a meat restaurant overlooking the beach in Netanya.
• Yankale Cafe is one of my favorite cafes in Israel. The varied menu and I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered, including salads, pasta, breakfast, and pastries. There is also a fun vibe and the cafe is always busy.

• 300 Gram (Mehadrin) is a family-friendly steak restaurant in Moshav Betzet, near Nahariya. The menu focuses on quantity over quality.
• Amigos (Mehadrin) is a grilled meat restaurant in Kiryat Shemona.
• Amiri Bistro is a meat restaurant in Emek Hefer.
• Aresto (Badatz Beit Yosef) is a dairy cafe in the Caesaria Port.
• Atza Sushi is a sushi bar in Ramat Yishay.
• Avi’s Restaurant is a grilled meat and fish restaurant in Tiveria.
• Beit Haugot (Mehadrin) is a dairy cafe in Tzfat.
• Biga (Mehadrin) is a dairy chain cafe in Ziv Center in Haifa.
• BP Bistro is an American diner-style food in Mifratz Haifa and Horev Center in Haifa.
• Brisket is a smoked meat restaurant in Hadera serving a variety of meat by weight or as a sandwich.

• Casa Barone  is a simple meat restaurant located in the Beit Maimon Hotel in Zichron Yaakov.
• Delicafe by Vivino is a cafe and bakery with two branches in Haifa.
• Dream is a meat restaurant and bar in Rosh Pina with a large Succah in the garden of the restaurant with a view of the Kinneret.
• El Rancho is a South American grilled meat restaurant in Tiveria.
• Eretz Canaan (Badatz Machpud) is a meat restaurant in Rosh Pina that recently replaced Meatbalim.
• Forest is a Mediterranean meat bistro in Moshav Me’ona in Upper Galilee.
• Gillis Steak House, Moshav Nov, Golan is a unique family-friendly meat restaurant – open chol hamoed for lunch from 1 pm, last booking at 7 pm. Great for large groups.

• Greg Cafe is a dairy chain cafe with branches in Atlit and Beit Shean.
• HaMexicanit is a grilled meat sports bar in Haifa.
• Haroeh Bacafe is a dairy cafe with a lovely garden and large Succah,  located in Kfar Haroeh between Netanya and Caesaria.
• HaTzuk (Mehadrin) is located on the edge of the cliff on the border of Israel and Lebanon, next to the entrance to the Rosh Hanikra cable car. Sitting on the outer deck feels like you are suspended over the sea. The menu includes grilled meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes.
• Hazalbanim (Badatz Beit Yosef) is a meat restaurant in Caesaria Port overlooking the water. The menu includes a wide variety of grilled meat and fish.
• Hummus Yerushalayim is a hummus restaurant in Hadera.
• Jacob’s Farm is a cafe, cheese shop, and ice cream parlor in a rural setting in Kfar Haroeh. As well as cheese platters, the cafe serves salads, sandwiches, and picnic hampers.
• Kabir Winery (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant in a winery in Elon Moreh (near Nablus) with a buffet brunch during Chol Hamoed.
• Lotem Deree (Mehadrin) is a cafe in Avtalion olive oil farm in the Galil near Karmiel.
• Lotte is a meat chef restaurant in the Galei Kinneret Hotel overlooking the Kinneret. The setting is stunning and the food and service are very good.

• Mama Halsa (Mehadrin) is a grilled meat restaurant in Kiryat Shemona.
• Nili (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant on the midrochov of Zichron Yaakov.
• Pazi Coffee is a coffee cart in  Yanuv near Netanya.
• Pincholina (Mehadrin) is a dairy restaurant in Moshav Sde Ilan near the Kinneret.
• Port Cafe is a dairy bistro in the Caesarea Harbour with Greek influences.

• Purete is a meat restaurant in Kibbutz Kinneret by Chef Tomer Tio.

• Keeboots Cafe is a coffee cart in Mizpe Ramon.
• Krancho is a grilled meat and tortilla restaurant in Ashkelon.
