Debbest Dishes from Recent Meals
- I don’t need an excuse to have dinner at Azia 19, but conveniently a friend from NY offered to take me as a thank-you present. It was his first visit so we shared the sesame Caesar salad, boneless chicken wings, tuna handroll, smoked gyoza, chirashi bowl, and coconut snow for dessert. Check out a video from a previous visit.
- I was invited to try Bar 22, the new bar in the Inbal Hotel. I loved the cocktails, which were accompanied by various small meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. Take a look at the full video here.
- I have been to the meat restaurant at the Ramban Hotel a few times, but I finally made it to lunch at the gorgeous new Cafe Ramban. This post is about the meal and the Cafe Ramban English menu is now on the hotel website.
- A family friend’s visit gave me an excuse to try Chacoli (Not Kosher), a Spanish tapas, fish and seafood restaurant by Chef Guy Gamzo in the old Dolphinarium in Tel Aviv.
- I organized a client’s Tu B’Shvat dinner for 25 people in the private room at the new Malka location in Tel Aviv. My highlight dishes were the bag of green Jericho beans, which are always excellent, Farro risotto, which I had not tried before and finished the plate, grouper chraime and the juicy and full-flavored Entrecote steak.
