Debbest Dishes from Recent Meals

  • I don’t need an excuse to have dinner at Azia 19, but conveniently a friend from NY offered to take me as a thank-you present. It was his first visit so we shared the sesame Caesar salad, boneless chicken wings, tuna handroll, smoked gyoza, chirashi bowl, and coconut snow for dessert. Check out a video from a previous visit.
  • I organized a client’s Tu B’Shvat dinner for 25 people in the private room at the new Malka location in Tel Aviv. My highlight dishes were the bag of green Jericho beans, which are always excellent, Farro risotto, which I had not tried before and finished the plate, grouper chraime and the juicy and full-flavored Entrecote steak.
