A Summary of the Best Kosher Restaurants in Tel Aviv & Herzliya.
Although the selection of high-end kosher restaurants in Tel Aviv may not be as good as in Jerusalem, there are some great options, even if most are in hotels. Many people will probably disagree with some of my choices, but I have tried to include a variety of restaurant styles rather than just listing my favorite ten steak restaurants.

Here is my list of must-try restaurants in Tel Aviv:
-
Darya, Hilton Tel Aviv
Darya restaurant is described as serving modern Silk Road cuisine, a fusion of Far Eastern and Mediterranean flavors. The menu is full of creative and exciting flavor combinations. I have eaten at Darya several times, both in the main restaurant and in the private dining room. It is one of the best kosher restaurants I have been to, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive.

Dvora
Dvora is Chef Eyal Shani‘s second kosher restaurant, located off the lobby of the Debrah Brown Hotel. The menu is similar to Malka’s, with many of Shani’s signature dishes, such as the Bag of Green Beans and Lima Beans, but it also includes some new dishes unique to Dvora.

ImerSion
ImerSion is located in a secret building in Old Jaffa and lives up to the name of an immersive experience. It is a multisensory journey worldwide, featuring a tasting menu and stunning immersive visuals that take you from New York to Kyoto, Rio to Paris, Venice to Vegas, before heading home. More about my dinner at ImersSion.

MalkaÂ
Malka by Chef Eyal Shani shares the same rustic style as his other restaurants. Shani is great at making a vegetable the hero of the dish, with starters including A Bag of Green Beans, Zucchini Baby Lollies, and Lima Beans. The main courses are elevated street-food dishes like Schnitzel filled with mashed potatoes and Minute Steak on a bed of tahina. Most of the food is designed for sharing and served on brown paper.

Sushi Bar Bazel
The restaurant has been in Tel Aviv for years but only became kosher a few years ago. It recently moved from the Prima Tel Aviv hotel to Bograshov Street. The sushi was delicious, and I also liked the avocado tempura, fish cigars with a spicy dip, and Asian tofu salad with a delightful dressing.

Minato, Herzliya Pituach
Possibly one of the best sushi restaurants in Israel, Minato‘s use of high-quality ingredients and precise preparation sets it apart from most other sushi places. The menu includes delicious dishes such as Agedashi Tofu, Katsu Chicken, and Minato Yakiniku (entrecote with a mild mirin sauce).
The restaurant’s design and dishes are beautiful and add to the dining experience. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, so space is limited.
