Noema - Tel Aviv - Not KosherMonthly Roundup

Israel Foodie News & Restaurant Openings May 2024

Israel Restaurant Openings and Foodie News for May.

Spring might be the beginning time for most industries, but it is a slower time for new restaurants in Israel, mostly because Pesach keeps everyone busy. That being said, there are still some interesting updates this month. Tel Aviv has a new fish restaurant overlooking the sea (Asimi) and a meat and fish restaurant in The Setai Hotel – both kosher.  Jerusalem celebrates the opening of a new cafe and bar in the Gerard Behar Center, and the trend for wine bar openings has spread to Ramat HaSharon.

May is also the start of the wine festival season, with several fun events taking place all over the country. Check out the event list below for more details.

If you try any restaurants in this update,  please share photos and a review in Restaurant Club Israel‘s Facebook group.
