A Selection of the Kosher Private Dining Rooms and Venues for Small Events in Jerusalem.
In the last year, I have often been asked this question: “We are planning a small family bar mitzvah at the Kotel and want a nice place for breakfast or lunch nearby. Where do you recommend?” The problem is that there is no simple answer. Therefore, rather than repeating myself, I have compiled a list of kosher restaurants in Jerusalem suitable for small events (up to 50 people).
I have divided the list into three sections. The first is for those who want to stay in the Old City, which has limited venue options. Others want to be able to walk to a restaurant or venue, so the second section has venues that are no more than a 30-minute walk from the Kotel. The third section includes venues anywhere in Jerusalem. Most places are 15 minutes away by taxi or minibus, thereby expanding the available options.
