Israel Foodie News & Restaurant Openings March 2024

Israel Restaurant Openings and Foodie News for March.

There are a surprising number of restaurant openings around Israel right now, and given the fact that tourism is still minimal, locals should try to support these new restaurants as much as possible.

Kosher highlights this month include Ofaimme Farm finally opening a branch in Tel Aviv,  Chef Ezra Kedem opening a cocktail bar in Jerusalem, and Sushi Bar Bazel reopening on Bograshov Street in Tel Aviv. Non-kosher news includes a wine bar in the Brown JLM Mamilla, an authentic Italian patisserie in Herzliya Pitach by the owners of Calata 15, and Shake Shack has opened its first branch in Israel.

Although most restaurants have fully reopened and are functioning as close to normal as possible, a few remain closed. Some restaurants in hotels that are still in use by evacuees are still closed, as well as a few places where the owners are still in the army.

Stay informed with our comprehensive list of new restaurant openings, foodie news, recent closures, and upcoming events and festivals, including the highly anticipated Sommelier event at Hechal HaTarbut Tel Aviv on 1-2 April  2024. If you try any restaurants in this update,  please share photos and a review in Restaurant Club Israel‘s Facebook group.
